Wednesday, September 03, 1913   USS K-1 (was the Haddock) (SS-32) :  Launched by the Fore River Shipbuilding Co., Quincy, MA.
Thursday, September 03, 1942   USS Pompano (SS-181) :  While enroute to Midway, Pompano sank a patrol craft with gunfire.
Thursday, September 03, 1942   USS Amberjack (SS-219) :  Departed on her 1st war patrol.
Friday, September 03, 1943   USS Pollack (SS-180) :  Pollack sank the 3,521 ton cargo ship Tagonoura Maru.
Friday, September 03, 1943   USS Scamp (SS-277) :  Scamp stood out of Brisbane, Australia on her 4th war patrol. She again patrolled off the Solomons and into the Bismarck Sea. (Exact date unknown)
Sunday, September 03, 1944   USS Pargo (SS-264) :  Pargo departed on her 5th war patrol. She ranged the South China Sea, pressing her attacks to damage several Japanese ships and to sink 2 more, including a minelayer.
Sunday, September 03, 1944   USS Sea Devil (SS-400) :  Sea Devil began her 1st war patrol. When she was 500 miles off Honshu she made contact with 2 sampan type patrol vessels. Rough seas precluded an attack. She continued to the shipping lanes near Japan.
Wednesday, September 03, 1952   USS Cavalla (SS-244) :  Cavalla was placed "Out of Commission" and entered the Electric Boat Co. for conversion to a hunter killer submarine.
